Nablus Center for Culture and Arts

Meet H'ala, the driving force behind the Nablus Center for Culture and Arts in Palestine. Armed with a master's degree in philosophy and the arts from Freie Universität Berlin, H'ala embarked on a mission to create a space where the transformative power of art could shape young lives in Nablus.

Founded in January 2017 by a group of dynamic young artists and entrepreneurs, this cultural haven is a testament to the transformative power of art and its potential to inspire, educate, and illuminate the hearts and minds of the next generation.

The heart of this organization beats to the rhythm of art and culture, focusing on children aged 3 to 15. It is here that young minds are introduced to the enchanting world of music, dance, and language.

The centre hosts a vibrant array of dance classes, ranging from the grace of ballet to the energy of hip-hop and the traditional beats of Dabka. Their commitment to artistic exploration knows no bounds, welcoming new dance styles and fresh choreographic ideas with open arms.

In the realm of music, the centre offers instruction on various instruments, including the piano, guitar, oud, and nay. With a unique music curriculum designed in-house, students are given the opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of melodies, harmonies, and rhythms. Registration opens every September, and classes continue until May of the following year.
