Catalysing Change: Local Leaders, Global Impact.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple yet profound: to connect investors with local leaders who are tirelessly working to tackle pressing issues in their communities.

By providing the financial support, guidance, and resources they need, we aim to catalyse sustainable change and empower communities to thrive.

Our Inspiration

Our journey began in the heart of Peru, where the idea for Haku Haku was born. Inspired by the tireless resolve of the Andean communities, we witnessed the incredible potential for positive change when local leaders are given the support they deserve.

The name ‘Haku Haku’ itself is derived from the Quechua phrase ‘Come on, Come on’, embodying the spirit of resolve, unity and collaboration of local leaders in tackling pressing issues, both on a local and global scale.

Our Approach

We understand that real change begins at the grassroots level. That's why we connect investors with local leaders who have first-hand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities in their communities.

Our team facilitates this by connecting local projects with organisations that have the ability to support operations and make a difference where it matters most. To date, we have helped dozens of projects, guiding thousands of dollars in funding to communities across the world.

Institutions that we secure investments from range from the United Nations, its various arms, and governments worldwide, as well as private investors and charities.

Our Operating Mechanism & Costs

Haku Haku is a non-profit organisation to the core. We believe every penny of investment should be in the hands of people who can make a substantive difference for their communities and environment.

As such, we do not receive or handle any funds. There are no charges to investors or the people we represent. Every operating cost is covered by our incredible team, who all work on a voluntary basis.

Our artless task is finding, connecting and guiding relations between investors and local communities.
